Realising that clients were benefitting immensely from the cards during a session and hearing comments such as 'I was out with my friends the other day and really could have used your Hayz Dayz cards', it became apparent that creating an iPhone app would be an extension of the 2Think services offered. The Deck of cards contains 8 colour designs, each with 25 emotions on the reverse side. The cards were designed to assist people identify a range of emotions using colour theory. Like most things, there is a continuum of emotions which is regularly shifting as we grow, learn or experience. Similarly the colours represent a range of emotions that can be positive or less helpful depending on the situation. For example responsibility – a sense of responsibility prevents the general population from breaking the law and this has positive effects on society. Responsibility someone may have for the care of others, such as children looking after siblings due to drug affected parents, can prevent this child at best from achieving their full potential or at worse exposure to risk or abuse.
